Global temperatures will increase between 2.1 and 2.9 Celsius, a dangerous mark, by the end of the century even if current climate regulations (e.g. global emissions) are not applied.
The study is in a journal of atmospheric studies, the Journal of Atmospheric Science and Ocean Research.
The paper of the study is entitled Climate and Geography of Ocean and Atmosphere: The Impact of Water, Climate Science, and Solar Environment on the Atmosphere, Ocean Sheet and Water.
The authors of the paper study were the researchers of Atmospheric Sciences, a project made up of the University of Southampton, UK, and of the University of Southampton University of Technology, UK who are involved in other research projects.
The climate scientists of the paper studied the water and the climate and its effects on the climate in the last 15 years. They are now at work in the UK, where the team at the University of Southampton also are trying to understand the impact of water on the climate when the current sea level is below the average of the global average. They hope that those at the University of Southampton will follow the paper and bring the sea levels to the current range in the next 25 years.
