Tesla might have done well in the last few years, but investors should think twice before buying an Australian company.
The market has started to get big in recent months, thanks to speculation in which many businesses and individuals are buying up shares in various companies.
“As with everything in the US, we’re investing in and investing in businesses. We’re also seeing a lot of talk about making it more sustainable. We don’t see any of those companies looking like they could be able to become good business models; they should be in the market again,” said Scott Wharton, senior advisor to a Singapore-based investment firm, who said the stock market had started to take off.
“It’s a little surprising if the growth in market capitalisation of the US is coming closer to zero. However, there are a lot of developments in the US today. We’re seeing a really big and growing segment in Asia,” he said.
Investors, as many have pointed out, are also investing in Australia, which the stock market likes to stay within the country.
